Start your income tax return

File your income tax return. Returns, where one is required, are due on Monday 30 November 2026. We work out your return from what you give us, enter it in IRD e-Services for you, and send you a summary of every box. We submit only after you approve it with a one-time code.

Your request

Three short steps. The form only shows the questions that apply to you. Nothing is bought by sending this form, and no payment is taken on this website. After you send it, we show our bank details so you can pay by bank transfer.

Step 1 of 3: how to reach you

Your own mobile number. We reply to you on it.

Your own email address.

Without an email, we help you set up a free one so the IRD can email your PIN.

How should we reply?
